Sacred Gold

Sacred Gold is a fantasy action RPG for players who want a big Diablo-style loot hunt with a more old-school feel. By our assessment, its strength is the size of the world and the steady stream of enemies, gear, and character builds that keep the pace moving. The trade-off is that it comes from an earlier era of the genre, so interfaces and balance can feel rougher than in modern loot games. In practice it is all about clearing enemies, picking up items, and pushing deeper into zones rather than stopping for long story scenes. Compared with newer action RPGs, it is less polished but also less padded, and that plain directness is part of its appeal. Sacred Gold suits people who enjoy classic hack-and-slash structure and do not mind a game that shows its age in the menus and the feel of combat.
