Sa・Ga COLLECTION

Sa・Ga COLLECTION is a collection of classic role-playing games, so it appeals most to people who care about older JRPG structure, not just one modern release. By our assessment, the main value is preservation: several games in one place, with the odd systems and distinct identity that made the series notable in the first place. The trade-off is that collection releases often preserve quirks too, including older interfaces and design choices that can feel blunt now. In practice that can be charming if the player likes history and structure, or stiff if the player wants smoother modern RPG flow. Compared with a remake, it offers the original shape of the games instead of a cleaned-up version, and that is exactly the point.
