SNKRX

SNKRX strips the action down to a snake of heroes and drops the player into a run where positioning and automatic attacks do most of the talking. By our assessment, that is the neat trick here: it turns a familiar arcade shape into a party-based roguelite with very little fuss, so the important decisions are about formation, upgrades, and how long to push a risky run. The downside is that the system can feel constrained once the loop is understood, because the whole game is intentionally built around one clear idea. In practice it is fast, readable, and pleasantly tactical without asking for the kind of heavy management larger strategy games demand. Compared with broader auto-battlers, it is smaller and more direct, and that focused shape is part of its charm. People who like compact runs and clean decision-making will get more out of it than players looking for sprawling variety, and the loop stays sharp right up to the moment it starts repeating itself.
