SKYHILL is a survival roguelike set in a hotel overrun by danger, where every room choice, scrap of loot, and crafting decision matters. By our assessment, its strongest point is the pressure of resource management: food, health, and improvised gear all push back at the player at once. That same pressure is also the downside, because the game can feel unforgiving and repetitive when a run turns against you early. In practice, it is a tense, stop-start kind of game where scavenging and planning matter more than flashy combat. It sits in the survival-roguelike corner of the genre, closer to attrition and planning than to power fantasy. SKYHILL suits players who enjoy lean systems and hard turns, and it never really pretends to be forgiving.
