SCP: Nukalypse

SCP: Nukalypse leans on the familiar SCP idea of containment gone wrong, then turns it into a game about surviving a bizarre and hostile outbreak. By our assessment, that makes it appealing to players who like horror set inside a known internet mythos rather than a cleanly explained monster story. Its strength is the premise: the SCP framework gives it room for unsettling objects, experiments, and crisis management without needing a tidy lore pitch. The obvious limit is that SCP games can feel thin if the novelty of the setting runs out before the mechanics do. In play, this kind of game usually works through tension, scavenging, and improvising under pressure more than through polished combat. Compared with mainstream horror, it probably lives closer to fan-made atmosphere and concept than to expensive production values, and that is part of the bargain. It names a catastrophe rather than a system, and the whole thing depends on that weirdness staying vivid.
