Rusty Lake Paradise

Rusty Lake Paradise is a puzzle game for people who like point-and-click logic, eerie symbolism, and the slow drip of strange story fragments. By our assessment, it is good at building a dense mood with compact rooms, simple interactions, and puzzles that sit inside the oddness instead of interrupting it. The trade-off is that the series’ taste for the uncanny can be a little opaque, so some players will bounce off the dream-logic pace and the deliberately unsettling tone. In practice it feels like opening one small drawer after another and finding each one tied to the next, with the setting doing a lot of the work. Rusty Lake Paradise sits with the rest of Rusty Lake in the compact, atmospheric end of adventure puzzlers, not in the broad, chatty kind.
