Russian SuperHero Dead Ivan sounds like a comic, rowdy action game that leans on absurdity more than polish. By our assessment, the name itself promises the main appeal: a rough, joke-heavy superhero premise rather than a serious world. That kind of game can be fun when it commits fully to the bit, but the same style can also leave little room for depth, balance, or lasting variety. In play, you would expect a lot of simple action and a lot of attitude, with the humor doing much of the work. It sits beside other low-budget parody games more than beside straight superhero stories, and that is where its value lives. Russian SuperHero Dead Ivan is the kind of thing people try for the premise, then keep only if the jokes land.
