Rushdown Revolt - Alpha Testing

Rushdown Revolt - Alpha Testing sounds like a fighting game project aimed at players who like aggressive movement, combo pressure, and experimenting before a roster or system is fully settled. By our assessment, the point of an alpha like this is to show the game in motion while still leaving rough edges visible, so what matters is the feel of speed and offense more than polish. The downside is built into that stage: balance is provisional, content may be thin, and any judgment has to account for the fact that the game is still being shaped. In practice that means a lot of iteration, a lot of learning by repetition, and a format that appeals most to people who enjoy early fighting-game development as much as the matches themselves. Compared with finished fighters, it sits closer to a workshop than to a final product, and that is both its charm and its limit. It is for players who want to watch and help a fast competitive game take shape, not for anyone who only wants a complete, settled package.
