Roundguard

Roundguard makes its case with a single strong idea: it turns the peg-bouncing arcade loop into a dungeon crawl with loot, class choices, and comic fantasy flavour. By our assessment, that is exactly why it lands for players who like pinball-like motion but want it wrapped in a roguelike run instead of a pure score chase. The best part is the feel of each shot, because every bounce matters and the board keeps throwing little decisions at you. Its limit is repetition, since the runs live and die on a fairly small set of spaces, upgrades, and enemies. In practice it is a game of quick turns, luck, and nudges rather than careful long-term planning, so it stays lively but rarely feels heavy. It sits between Peggle-style physics play and light deckless roguelikes, which is a narrow but memorable lane. Roundguard is a good pick for someone who wants something breezy, noisy, and tactical in short bursts, not a deep build-crafting marathon.
