Roof Rage is built for players who want a straightforward platform fighter with local-multiplayer energy and quick rounds. By our assessment, its main strength is the simple, readable brawling: characters jump, knock each other around, and try to control a small shared space instead of learning a giant move list. The trade-off is that a game like this lives or dies on friends, timing, and map variety, so the ceiling is lower than in the big-name fighters with deeper systems. In practice it should feel noisy, immediate, and a little chaotic in the best way, which is exactly what this subgenre promises. Roof Rage sits closer to party fighting than to serious tournament play, and that makes it a cleaner fit for short sessions than for long mastery grinds.
