Rogue Tower

Rogue Tower turns the deckbuilding side of tower defense into the whole game, so the player is always juggling when to place a tower, when to buy a card, and how far to push a lane before the map gets ugly. By our assessment, it is strongest at making every run feel like a small planning puzzle with real pressure, because one bad stretch can leave the defenses stretched thin. The trade-off is that it can feel harsh when a build comes apart, since success leans on reading synergies and map shape rather than just dropping the obvious best tower. In practice it is a game of compact decisions and constant course correction, not a relaxed builder. It sits closer to roguelike strategy than to traditional tower defense, and that mix is its real hook. The ceiling is the same one most run-based strategy games hit: repeat attempts and a lot of attention to card order.
