Roboquest

Roboquest lives on speed: it is a first-person shooter built around fast movement, quick weapon swaps, and short runs through enemy-filled arenas. By our assessment, the best part is the clean momentum, where sliding, jumping, and shooting all feed into the same brisk rhythm. The trade-off is that the game asks for constant attention, because hesitation breaks the flow and the screen can get busy fast. In practice it feels sharp and arcade-like, with runs that are easy to start but hard to treat casually once the action ramps up. It sits with modern roguelite shooters rather than slower, methodical shooters, and its pace is the point. Roboquest does what it says on the tin, and that tin is loud, fast, and full of moving parts.
