Robocraft

Robocraft is a vehicle-building battle game where the real work happens in the garage before the match even starts. By our assessment, its main attraction is the block-based construction of robots, because tinkering with shapes, weapons, and mobility can be more interesting than the fights themselves. The weak point is equally clear: a build-heavy game like this can become a balancing headache, and some matches end up feeling more about the design screen than about clean combat. In play, it is part engineering toy and part online brawler, with a lot of experimenting, crashing, and rebuilding. Compared with fixed-vehicle shooters, it gives more freedom but also more mess, since clever ideas do not always translate into good battlefield performance. Robocraft is for players who like constructing machines before using them, and it is less convincing if the combat itself has to carry all the weight.
