Riichi City

Riichi City is for people who already like Japanese mahjong and want a digital place to play riichi with the full rules rather than a simplified version. Its strong point is obvious: it gives the real table game structure, the scoring logic, and the social pressure of a competitive mahjong room. The downside is also obvious to anyone new to the game — the rules are dense, the terminology is not gentle, and the opening hours are spent learning rather than relaxing. By our assessment, it sits well above toy-like mahjong apps because it asks for real understanding, and that is exactly why it can feel rewarding. It does not try to be a casual tile spinner, and the interface is built around actual riichi play.
