Resident Evil 7 Teaser: Beginning Hour is a short first-person horror teaser built to sell atmosphere, puzzle pressure, and the series’ move into a tighter, more grounded kind of fear. By our assessment, it is good at one thing in particular: making a small space feel hostile through limited exploration, locked paths, and constant uncertainty. The downside is that it is only a teaser, so the whole experience is narrow by design and more about tone than fullness. In practice it plays like a tense room-by-room probe, where every new corner matters more than combat or long-term progression.
