Refunct

Refunct gets a lot out of doing very little: it is a first-person movement game built around clean jumps, climbing routes, and simply reaching the next patch of ground. By our assessment, its best quality is how stripped down it is, because the whole thing is about flow, speed, and getting back into motion after every missed jump. That simplicity is also the limit, since there is not much story or mechanical variety to lean on once the movement clicks. In practice it feels like a small, bright playground where the pleasure comes from learning the shape of the space and moving through it without interruption. It sits closer to a short precision platformer than to a full adventure, and that helps it stay focused. Refunct makes the most sense for players who want a brief movement challenge and do not need a lot of content around it.
