Red Solstice 2: Survivors

Red Solstice 2: Survivors asks for patience, squad awareness, and a taste for tactical pressure. By our assessment, its strength is the way it combines real-time squad control with a grim sci-fi survival mission, so you are constantly balancing movement, positioning, and limited resources. It sits in a niche between action strategy and co-op survival, and that makes it feel more deliberate than a pure shooter. The downside is also part of the format: it can be unforgiving, and the layer of systems means the game asks you to learn its pace before it opens up. In practice it feels tense and workmanlike, with each push forward carrying the risk of being overrun. Compared with lighter action games, Red Solstice 2: Survivors is slower and more demanding, but it gives more room for planning and team play. The rating is strong because the game commits to that hard-edged co-op tactics identity and keeps it intact.
