Race The Sun

Race The Sun is a score-chasing runner about keeping a solar craft alive as the ground falls away, so the appeal is in clean reflex play and learning the rhythm of hazards. By our assessment, it works best as an arcade trial of timing and route choice rather than a game of story or build variety. The downside is plain: once the routes and obstacles are familiar, the loop is very exposed and there is not much to hide behind. In practice it feels crisp, tense, and a little ruthless, with quick restarts doing a lot of the work. It sits closer to high-score arcade games than to adventure games, and that is the right comparison. Race The Sun fits people who want short, focused runs and do not mind repetition as the price of mastery.
