RUINER

RUINER is the cyberpunk top-down action game for players who want tight shooting, melee hits, and a harsh electronic mood wrapped around a simple revenge run. By our assessment, it is strongest in its combat rhythm: dodges, bursts of gunfire, and close-range strikes land with real snap, and the whole thing moves fast enough to stay tense. The downside is that the mood and style carry a lot of the weight, so if the combat loop stops clicking, there is not much else to lean on. In practice it feels sharp and controlled rather than broad, with levels that push you from one fight to the next. It sits well above generic twin-stick fare in presentation and polish, but it is still a focused action game, not a giant systems sandbox.
