RIP - Trilogy

RIP - Trilogy asks for patience more than quick thrills, and that is really the point of this sort of game. It is a retro-leaning shooter package, so the appeal is in simple loops, enemy patterns, and learning how the levels push back. By our assessment, it can be satisfying if you like a compact arcade feel and do not mind a rougher edge. The downside is that this kind of project often lives on repetition and a thin presentation rather than on breadth or polish. In practice that means short sessions, restart-heavy play, and a lot of attention on movement and timing. It sits closer to small old-school action games than to modern cinematic shooters, and the ceiling is set by how much mileage you get from that style.
