RESONANCE OF FATE/END OF ETERNITY 4K/HD EDITION is for players who want a very specific, tactical role-playing game with gunplay, positioning, and a lot of rule awareness. By our assessment, its biggest strength is that unusual battle system: fights are less about standard menu rhythm and more about movement, lines of fire, and careful planning. The obvious downside is that this is not a soft entry point; the combat can feel dense before it feels elegant, and the learning curve is part of the deal. In practice it asks for patience, because the game likes you to understand its systems before it starts opening up. As a remaster, the 4K/HD part tells you it is an updated edition of an older, already distinctive game, not a new reinvention. RESONANCE OF FATE/END OF ETERNITY 4K/HD EDITION is the sort of RPG that rewards study more than impulse.
