REKA

REKA is for players who want a small, mood-heavy exploration game rather than a sprawling system to master. By our assessment, its strongest point is the old-witchhouse atmosphere and the way it leans on walking, gathering, and making a place feel uncanny instead of flooding you with mechanics. The downside is that this kind of game can feel slender if someone wants combat loops or long progression; it is more about tone and wandering than about systems. In practice, that usually means slow movement, close attention to objects, and a lot of looking around at the environment. Against heavier adventure games, REKA sits on the lighter, more decorative end of the shelf, closer to a folklore walk than to a challenge box. It suits players who value setting and texture over complexity, and it will not satisfy anyone looking for mechanical depth.
