Quasimorph

Quasimorph pushes hard on extraction-style runs, hunger, and attrition, so it is for players who like harsh systems that do not let up. By our assessment, its main strength is the grim pressure it keeps on every mission: supplies matter, injuries matter, and a careless push can unravel a run quickly. The trade-off is bluntness; the game is not trying to be welcoming, and that can make it feel punishing before it feels generous. In practice it is all about managing a damaged crew, choosing when to press on, and living with losses that stick. Compared with more polished action roguelites, it sits on the rougher, meaner end of the spectrum, closer to survival stress than to power fantasy. Quasimorph is strongest when the player wants tension to stay high from start to finish.
