Project Highrise

Project Highrise asks for patience, because the real game is not placing a tower but running a functioning high-rise full of offices, apartments, shops, and services. By our assessment, its strength is the clean simulation of how all those tenants lean on power, elevators, maintenance, and foot traffic, so one bad layout can ripple through the whole building. The cost is constant management: you watch utility lines, rent, access, and complaints instead of admiring a skyline and moving on. In practice it feels like a city-builder compressed into one vertical block, with less sprawl than SimCity-style games and more attention to the daily logistics of a single property. The game sits in the management-sim corner of the genre, closer to tycoon planning than to spectacle. It is best for players who enjoy reading systems and fixing bottlenecks, not for anyone who wants a loose sandbox with little supervision.
