Primordia

Primordia is for players who want an old-school point-and-click adventure built around dialogue, item use, and a lot of reading. By our assessment, its strongest point is the world itself: a rusted robot civilization, dry humor, and a setting that feels carefully written rather than merely decorated. The trade-off is that the pace is slow and the puzzle style can be stubborn, with plenty of backtracking and thinking in the game’s own logic. In practice it plays like a classic adventure, where talking matters as much as collecting things and every room seems to hold another scrap of lore. Compared with more modern adventure games, it is less about slick guidance and more about patience and attention. Primordia suits people who enjoy narrative-first puzzles and post-apocalyptic fiction. It is not a quick or breezy game, and the reading is part of the experience.
