Power to the People turns city power grids into the puzzle, and that is exactly why it works. By our assessment, its best quality is how clearly it makes electricity feel like a live system: plants, substations, lines, and demand all pull on each other at once. The obvious downside is the strain it puts on your attention, because one bad decision can ripple through the whole network. In practice it is a management game of balancing supply, routing, and outages while the city keeps growing around you. Compared with softer city builders, it is more technical and less decorative, and that focus gives it character. Power to the People rewards people who enjoy systems that can fail in visible ways, and it never hides the engineering under fluff.
