Potionomics is a shopkeeping and deck-building game for people who like managing a store as much as winning fights. By our assessment, it is strongest in the day-to-day loop: bargaining with adventurers, lining up cards, and turning a tiny potion business into something that feels busy and personal. The downside is that the whole thing depends on liking a lot of management chatter and repeated negotiation, so anyone wanting a pure combat game will feel the drag quickly. In practice it is more about planning, timing, and squeezing value out of each customer than about fast reflexes, and that gives it a clear identity. It sits closer to a systems-driven sim than to a simple fantasy story, with the shop side doing most of the work. The mana and money side of the loop is the point, not a decoration.
