Pool Nation FX Lite is a stripped-down pool game, so it is for people who mainly want to line up shots, judge angles, and hear the click of balls on a table without a lot of extra systems. By our assessment, the appeal is the clean billiards handling: aiming, spin, and the feel of running a rack are the center of it. The downside is right in the word Lite, because the package is a trimmed version and feels that way in scope. In practice it is a game of small corrections and patient setup, not of drama. Compared with fuller cue-sport titles, it is more limited and more of a sample than a complete course. Pool Nation FX Lite gives you pool in a light form, and that is basically the whole bargain.
