Poker Night 2

Poker Night 2 is a small poker game built for people who mainly want the banter and crossover personalities around the table. By our assessment, its real strength is that it turns a standard card game into a character piece, with Texas hold'em doing most of the mechanical work while the dialogue carries the charm. The downside is that there is not much else there once the novelty of hearing those voices wears off, so it depends heavily on whether that setup lands for you. In practice it is relaxed, a bit smug, and very much about sitting through hands rather than mastering a deep system. It sits closer to a licensed chatty spin-off than to a serious poker sim, and the name's own 2 just marks it as the sequel in the catalogue, not a bigger rule set.
