Planet of Lana

Planet of Lana stands out because it wraps a side-scrolling puzzle adventure in a very soft, storybook look. By our assessment, the real strength is the atmosphere: the art direction, the quiet pacing, and the animal companion give it a clear identity even before the puzzles do much work. The downside is that this kind of game lives or dies on mood, so if someone wants hard systems or repeated mechanical surprises, it can feel gentle to a fault. In play, it is about timing, stealth, movement, and solving simple environmental obstacles rather than wrestling with complex controls. It sits alongside other cinematic puzzle-platformers, but it is more about tenderness and presentation than about difficulty. Planet of Lana is a good pick for players who want a calmer, polished adventure and less appealing for people chasing sharp challenge.
