Pilgrims

Pilgrims is a short, playful adventure built around picking items and characters in the right order, with a hand-drawn look that gives it a storybook feel. By our assessment, its best quality is how it turns simple interactions into little comic scenes, so the pleasure comes from experimenting rather than from long-term systems. The trade-off is obvious: it is light and brief, and once the puzzle logic clicks, there is not much mechanical depth left to lean on. In practice it feels like a sequence of small smart decisions, with a lot of charm carrying the moment-to-moment motion. Compared with larger adventure games, Pilgrims is more compact and more deliberately slight, which is part of its appeal. It is for people who enjoy a concise puzzle-adventure and do not need a heavy story engine behind it.
