PickCrafter

PickCrafter is the sort of clicker game people open for short sessions, when the loop of tapping, upgrading, and watching numbers climb is the whole point. By our assessment, it does that basic loop cleanly: it gives the small hit of progress that idle and incremental games are supposed to provide. The downside is also the genre’s usual one: once the pattern is understood, the appeal rests on repetition and patience more than on surprise. In practice that means a lot of the game is about steady accumulation rather than moment-to-moment drama. Compared with deeper crafting or survival games, it is much lighter and more mechanical. It suits players who want an uncomplicated incremental grind, not players looking for systems with much variety or a strong world around them.
