Pew Dew Redemption reads like a joke on a familiar western name, and that already tells you where its appeal would come from. By our assessment, the title points more to parody or a light shooter riff than to anything serious, but there is no solid public substance here to pin down the loop. That makes it easy to imagine the tone and hard to judge the actual play. If it is a joke-driven game, the risk is that the joke lands once and the rest has to carry itself on mechanics. As a game, it would sit closer to oddball indie experiments than to polished mainstream action, which is a strength only if the underlying systems are doing real work. The name alone is the hook; the rest has to justify itself in play.
