Perfect Vermin

Perfect Vermin is a compact stealth-horror game about being a rat in a house and trying not to get caught, so it speaks most clearly to people who like small spaces, tension, and a very direct premise. By our assessment, its best quality is how sharply it turns that simple idea into pressure: moving through rooms, avoiding the humans, and picking your moment feels immediate rather than padded out. The downside is also part of the format, because once the premise has landed there is not much room for long progression or variety. In practice it should feel tense and a little cruel in the good way, with every mistake obvious and every success brief. Compared with bigger stealth games, it trades systems and scope for one strong hook, and that is exactly the point. It is a good pick if a lean, idea-first game sounds appealing, and less so if someone wants a long campaign or lots of mechanical layers.
