Peace, Death! takes the grim reaper joke and turns it into a management game about sorting souls, which is exactly why it sticks in memory. By our assessment, its strongest point is the clean comic idea: a paper-and-rules job built on deciding who goes where under pressure. That format is satisfying because the work is quick, the rules are readable, and the dark humor has a neat hook. The limit is that a game built on categorizing cases can start to feel like routine if it does not keep adding new twists or exceptions. In practice it sits somewhere between puzzle play and light management, with a brisk pace and a lot of judgment calls. Peace, Death! is more about sharp systems and a deadpan tone than about story scenes, and that is enough for its kind.
