Pathogen: Survival

Pathogen: Survival is a survival game built around infection, scavenging, and staying alive under pressure. By our assessment, the basic attraction is clear enough: it asks for resource watching, movement under threat, and the usual survival-game habit of turning small supplies into a constant concern. The honest limit is that this is a crowded genre, so the game has to stand out through its specific loop, world, or tension rather than through the premise alone. In play, that usually means cautious pacing and repeated trade-offs between safety and progress. It sits beside many other survival titles that make hunger, danger, and inventory management the real engine of the experience. As a result, it is most appealing to players who already like that loop and less compelling to anyone who finds survival systems repetitive. The title promises the kind of pressure the genre is built on, and that pressure is exactly what carries the game.
