Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2 looks like a sequel for action-RPG players who want deeper combat and more room to build characters, and by our assessment, that ambition is already the main thing to notice. It sits in the loot-heavy, skill-tree-driven end of the genre, where gear, passive choices, and enemy patterns matter more than quick reflexes alone. The upside is obvious to anyone who likes this style: there is room for serious build tinkering and for fights that ask for attention rather than button mashing. The downside is the familiar one for this kind of game — complexity can turn into homework, and the learning curve is not gentle. In practice it feels dense, deliberate, and very systems-first, with every new item or skill gem asking to be read rather than skimmed. Path of Exile 2 is not trying to be a casual action game, and the long-term appeal is strongest for players who enjoy spreadsheets of power more than quick spectacle.
