Party Hard 2 keeps the original idea of stalking through crowded spaces and thinning them out with traps, timing, and a lot of quick reading of patrol routes. By our assessment, it works best for players who enjoy stealth puzzles with a nasty comic edge, where the challenge is less about reflexes than about not getting caught while the map fills with moving pieces. The strong point is the loop of setting up accidents and escaping the scene before alarms spread; that gives each level a tidy, mean little rhythm. The downside is that the joke wears thin if the stealth sandbox does not grab you, because the whole game lives on repetition and close attention. Compared with looser stealth games, it is more focused and more disposable, and that narrowness is part of the appeal. The name also makes clear that the sequel tag is part of the title itself, not a count of anything.
