Pacify

Pacify leans on the simple fear of being chased through a house, and that is enough to give it a pulse. By our assessment, it is a co-op horror game built around searching rooms, handling objects and dealing with a hostile presence that keeps interrupting the work. Its strength is the immediate, readable tension: even basic tasks feel shaky once the threat starts moving. The downside is that the setup is narrow, so the scare loop can wear thin if the group wants variety or deep systems. In practice it is a lot of listening, moving carefully and reacting fast when the danger shows up. Compared with bigger horror games, it is more direct and stripped back, with less story and less complexity. Pacify fits players who want short bursts of co-op panic rather than a rich horror world; it is not a game for people who need broad mechanics or long-term progression. The whole thing lives or dies on how much mileage the group gets from the same haunted-house setup.
