Pacific Drive

Pacific Drive turns a station wagon into the whole game, and that is the neat trick: the car is your shelter, your tool, and your moving problem in the Olympic Exclusion Zone. By our assessment, the strongest part is the routine of scavenging materials, patching parts, and keeping the vehicle alive while anomalies make the road feel unstable. The honest cost is upkeep, because the game asks you to manage damage, fuel, and repairs instead of just driving through pretty scenery. In practice it has the tense, hands-on feel of a road trip where the checklist matters as much as the destination. It sits closer to survival crafting than to a simple driving game, and that difference is the whole point. Pacific Drive is good for players who enjoy systems, repair work, and uneasy atmosphere, while people wanting relaxed racing should look elsewhere.
