POSTAL: Brain Damaged

POSTAL: Brain Damaged strips the series down to a fast, old-school first-person shooter with aggressive movement and a deliberately ugly sense of humour. By our assessment, the strongest part is the pace: it wants constant strafing, quick target reads, and a willingness to stay in motion. That also exposes the trade-off, because the joke-heavy style and blunt combat will not be for everyone, and the whole thing depends on enjoying POSTAL’s crude tone rather than overlooking it. In practice it plays like a throwback shooter that keeps pushing forward instead of padding itself with systems. It is not trying to be a serious tactical shooter or a story-heavy FPS, and that narrower aim is both its point and its ceiling.
