POSTAL Redux

POSTAL Redux turns the old postal-rampage idea into a cleaner, modernized top-down shooter, so it is mostly for players who want that series' rude chaos without digging up the original. By our assessment, its best point is the clear, blunt pace: you move, shoot, and keep the pressure on, with the whole thing built around dark, offensive comedy rather than tactical depth. The downside is the same one that has always followed POSTAL around: the joke is the attitude, so if that tone lands badly, there is not much else to lean on. In practice it plays fast and messy, with short bursts of violence and little interest in careful systems. Compared with bigger modern shooters it is far rougher and smaller, but also less fussy about how you approach a fight. It suits people who want a straightforward remake of that infamous style, and it does not ask for much patience beyond tolerating the material itself.
