POSTAL 4: No Regerts is a crude first-person shooter built for players who want open vulgarity, loose questing, and the series’ habit of leaning on shock humor instead of polish. By our assessment, its aim is bluntly anti-serious, but that comes with a heavy cost: the shooting, movement, and mission structure have to carry a lot of roughness if the joke is the main event. It sits in the long shadow of older POSTAL games, and that comparison is hard on it because the rowdy tone is easier to notice than any real design discipline. In practice it can feel more like stumbling through a gag machine than moving through a well-tuned action game. People who mainly want boundary-pushing gross-out comedy may tolerate that trade, while anyone looking for tight gunplay or a cleanly built sandbox should probably stay away. The number in the title is part of the name, and the game wears its bad taste very openly.
