PHOGS! turns co-op movement into the whole point: two players control one long, stretchy dog and have to coordinate while moving through food, sleep, and play themed spaces. By our assessment, its real strength is the physical comedy of that shared body, because simple actions like pulling, biting, and wriggling become puzzles in themselves. The downside is equally clear: the joke depends on communication, so it can feel awkward if the pair is not in sync. In practice it is a game of patience, timing, and small corrections, less about pressure and more about making a shared contraption behave. It sits well above most gimmick co-op ideas because the central mechanic is built into everything, not pasted on top. PHOGS! works best for pairs who enjoy talking while they play and do not mind a bit of clumsy teamwork on the way.
