PGA TOUR 2K23

PGA TOUR 2K23 is a golf game for players who want shot planning, course management, and the slower rhythm of a simulation rather than arcade spectacle. By our assessment, its best feature is the way golf’s tiny choices matter: club selection, aim, wind, and timing all sit at the center of the round. The trade-off is that golf games are only as exciting as the player finds the sport itself, so the pace can feel deliberate and quiet. In practice it is a game of reading the course, setting up each stroke, and living with the consequences when one swing goes off line. It sits with the modern simulation golf crowd instead of the fantasy side of sports games, and it is less about flash than about control. PGA TOUR 2K23 keeps the number 2 and 23 in the title, and it is built around the measured feel of real golf rather than spectacle.
