PANICORE is a co-op horror game built around sneaking, listening, and trying not to make enough noise to wake whatever is hunting the group. By our assessment, its strongest idea is the pressure of shared panic, because horror works well when one mistake can ripple through the whole team. The trade-off is that this style depends a lot on coordination and on everyone staying engaged, so random play can make it feel messy fast. In practice, that means crouching, whispering through danger, and treating every hallway like a problem rather than a route. Compared with solo horror, it is more social and more chaotic, but also less controlled. PANICORE is the sort of game people reach for when they want tense multiplayer scares, and its limits show up as soon as the group stops moving together.
