Override: Mech City Brawl

Override: Mech City Brawl is a mech brawler for people who want huge robots trading punches in crowded city blocks, not careful combat or stiff simulation. By our assessment, its strongest idea is the scale: the machines are built to feel oversized and clumsy in a way that makes each hit look heavy. That same scale is also the trade-off, because this kind of brawler tends to be more about chaos and spectacle than precision, and the mess can become the whole point. In practice it plays like a loud fight toy, with buildings, debris, and big motion taking most of the attention. Compared with technical mech games, Override is lighter and less exact, but it is easier to pick up and immediately get the joke of its combat. The name says what it is, and the game keeps that promise in motion.
