Overgrowth

Overgrowth asks for patience, timing, and a willingness to learn movement before anything else. By our assessment, its appeal comes from that unusual martial-arts rabbit fantasy: fights are about spacing, dodges, throws, and using the environment rather than memorizing a long combo list. The downside is that the same systems can feel awkward until the controls click, and the game leaves little room for casual button-mashing. In practice it plays like a physics-heavy brawler where both the camera and the body collisions matter a lot. Compared with more polished action games, it is rougher and more experimental, but also more distinctive in how it treats movement as the main skill. Overgrowth is for players who enjoy learning an engine as much as winning fights, and it will not suit anyone looking for a clean, low-friction spectacle.
