Orborun demands quick reading and a steady hand, because the whole game is about guiding a rolling sphere through tight spaces and tricky lines. That gives it a clean, immediate kind of appeal: you understand the task at once, and the fun comes from keeping control when the course starts to squeeze back. By our assessment, it works best as a short-burst action game with an arcade sensibility. The downside is that this kind of one-note movement game can feel narrow if you want variety or a long campaign. In practice it is a lot of correction, momentum, and last-second recovery, which can be tense in a good way. Orborun sits closer to obstacle-course skill games than to conventional platformers, and the level layout does most of the talking.
