One Hand Clapping

One Hand Clapping asks for an unusual kind of attention: it turns voice into the main control, so the player is spending as much time listening to themselves as solving the game. By our assessment, that makes it a clever vocal puzzle platformer, aimed at people who like experimental controls and do not mind a little self-consciousness at the microphone. Its real strength is the idea itself, because singing or humming to move through levels gives the whole thing a fresh rhythm that ordinary button play cannot copy. The limit is obvious too: voice-based interaction is less comfortable in shared spaces, less precise than buttons, and awkward if someone does not want to use a mic at all. In practice, the game is memorable because it makes basic movement feel like a performance. Compared with standard platformers, One Hand Clapping is more playful about input than about challenge, and that is exactly why it stands out.
